Lime Crime and Sugarpill review.

Well first off, HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody!! Hope you had a good Christmas and New Year!!
And now on to my new pretty products from the lovely people at Sugarpill and Lime Crime.

I bought 3 goodies; Lime Crime's "Carousel Gloss" in "Candy Apple" and Sugarpill's "ChromaLust" in "Weekender" and their lovely "Addicted to Pretty" 4 colour palette collection, "Heart breaker." I have to say I absolutely love all the products and am definitely investing in more!

Lets start with Lime Crime's Carousel Gloss in Candy Apple, it is prices well for the amount you get and also the intense colour it produces.

This is an amazing product, its the first lip gloss I have found that a) is insanely pigmented b) has glitter that doesn't look tacky and enhances your lips to make them look shiny and much more pouty-er! This little beauty is a must for creating luscious red lips!

The applicator is a little brush which means you have a lot more control applying the product and I also found that unlike other lip gloss wands it isn't over loaded with product, you get just the right amount on the brush. In the photo the colour looks slightly pick but I assure you it a beautiful light blood red colour with little tiny particles of red glitter that reflect the light perfectly to give the look of full lips also it lasts, I worn it yesterday teaching all day and reapplied once...after lunch!

Now the Sugarpill beauties that I got are equally as amazing, the pigment, the packaging, its all worth the money!

I love the art work on the front cover of the box, its by Liz Lorini.

This is the palette I got, "Heart Breaker" which comes in  4 different colours, "Acidberry" (lime green", "Velocity" (royal blue), "2am" (purple) and "Mochi" (mint blue/green).  As you can see the pigments are just lovely and they blend so smoothly together you can create some fantastic creative eye make-up with them.
And the actual size of the eye shadow pots are bigger then you think its going to be, this is going to last me a long long time...well longer then most products that I wear, worth the money!
Each press powder has a slight shimmer to it but not over the top and its hardly noticeable when applied to the eyelids.

The ChromaLust pot that I got in "Weekender" is a beautiful metallic loose powder that's a violet shimmery colour. Like the press powders it goes on the eyelid beautifully, blends amazing and stands out when its packed on and needs to stand out.

I love these products and am definitely going to invest in some more of both Lime Crime and Sugarpill cosmetics, I think my next purchases will be another Carousel Gloss or 2 in "Present" and "Hollygram" and I am definitely getting the "Burning Heart" palette, reviews will probably go up on all of these wonderful little pretties. They are great value for money and the looks that you can create with them are endless...my mind is buzzing with ideas, my students won't know whats hit them!
One of the best things about these products is that they are 100% vegan and and cruelty-free which is a massive bonus in my book! Recommend that those of you with a colourful tendency buy from these wonderful cosmetic companies!

In this look I have "2am" and "Acidberry" which I think look fierce together, beautiful contrast in colours! And I have Carousel Gloss on which as you can see does create a luscious eye catching effect on the lips. I also applied a little plum lip liner to the corners of my lips to create that perfect pout shape and give some dimension. Also team these colours with Lime Crime's eye shadow helper and your eye make-up will last and last and last, not to mention help the colours be as eye catching as possible!

More photos of looks created by these products will be uploaded soon keep checking out my facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Ruth.E.Moulden.MUA
