Am all blues and yellows....Illamasqua and Sugar Pill cosmetics makeup

It has been such a busy summer, there has been lots of road trips, celebrations ( Big congratulations to the best people in the whole world, Becky and Ga who have just got engaged woopwoop), makeup and lets not forget mass shopping!

Since I've been back its been manic!
I have fabulous news about the vintage fair I attend, its moving! But more details on that very soon...I will say am going to be doing live demonstrations at this fair.
My teaching work has grown, we seem to have a larger number of students joining my merry band of creative makeup bees which is amazing and I am happy to report I am now personal tutor to the level 3 media makeup students.

So to the makeup....this look is combining my two favourite makeup brands to create a lovely colourful creation which will make people stare.
Its using Sugarpills "Mochi" (Greeny blue) and "Buttercupcake" (yellow) combined with Illamasquas medium pencils in "Elate" (white) and "Paint" (yellow) teamed with Illamasquas "Eurydice" lipstick on the lips.

The look focuses changing the shape of the eye by using the medium pencil to sharpen areas.

Illamasqua's medium pencils are amazingly soft and blendable but not too soft that it breaks all the time. The colour work well blended into powder products without leave any unblendable residue (waxy areas)

As you can see the pigmentation in the pencils is just as good as Sugar Pills powders creating an incredibly eye catching effect.

On the lips I've add some "Elate" medium pencil to the centre of the lips to give a beautiful pout. The combination of the pink and white creates a wonderful contrast.

Hope you like the look, don't forget to check out my facebook page for more looks and news....https://www.facebook.com/Ruth.E.Moulden.MUA

Am going to be uploading some SFX reviews soon, a facial sculpture (when it arrives) and more information on the Vintage Fair coming up.
